GAO Presents a New E1 / Datacom Tester

Toronto, ON – GAO Tek Inc. (http://www.GAOTek.com) now offers a new E1/Datacom Tester (GAO 5854). This multi-functional and full-featured digital transmission system test device is designed for installation testing, engineering check and acceptance and daily maintenance of digital networks.

This ideal tester presents features including channel test, alarm analysis, fault location and signal analysis. In addition, this instrument provides various protocol converters with one-way and bi-directional bit-error-rate (BER) test functions. These capabilities make it suitable for field use.

GAO 5854 E1/Datacom Tester provides the following features:

1. High resolution backlight LCD

2. Smart navigation mode displays

3. Extensive error and alarm generation, detection and indication

4. Histogram analysis of alarm and error events

5. Save/Recall of up to 10 user-defined setups and 10 sets of results

6. Up to 6 hours operation from a single battery charge

7. Can be charged with automobile cigarette lighter battery adapter

Datacom testing

DTE or DCE emulation mode

G.703 CO testing
